Goodbye Loas, Hello Vietnam

HIGHTLIGHTS:

- Took a one-hr plane instead of a 2-day bus ride to get to Vietnam.

- Became millionaires at the ATM as we withdrew $2 mill dong each. Never thought the day would come at such a young age, but I'm not gonna fight it.

- In Hanoi, saw two people on mo-ped with 4 giant urns (no joke, like 6-10' tall). Trucks are so overrated.

- Had "cocktails" (the fanciest bottled water of my life) with a Vietnamese pop-star and a guy who knew the bear-man from the documentary.

LOWLIGHTS:

- Slept on a pillow that was actually a 4-inch tall block of cement. My crumpled up t-shirts were a better alternative.

- Found out that traffic in the city follows only one rule: "Don't hit anyone." Hmm...

- Wooed by a hotel owner who gave us free Orange Fantas when we checked in. Should've been our first tip-off that something wasn't right.
