Getting there

It took a 1, then 13, then 6 hr flight to get to Thailand but I met many cool people along the way and had a good many adventures (as many as you can have in an airport/airplane).

Highlights:
- Old Japanese woman in LAX aggressively knocking people out of the way to help me find my ticket counter.

- Triumphing with my seat buddy Andrew in my first Sodoku puzzle!

- Bathroom break to stretch my legs resulting in impromtu dance party to get the blood flowing and using the complimentary toothbrushes! Yay for Korean Air!

-In Korea found an absolutely FREE and very high-speed internet cafe.

Lowlights:
- An off-hand comment of someone in the airport shuttle about needing a Visa (which I did not have) to get into Thailand throwing me into a state of moderate anxiety from SD to LAX until I could confirm at the LAX ticket counter that he was indeed misinformed.

- The Sodoku actually took us 30 mins and was rated "easy." Who decides that's "easy" anyway?

- Eating fish in the airplane at 10pm/3am/8pm depending on what time zone you chose. I'm not sure what meal it was supposed to be but it didn't feel like an appropriate time to be eating it either way.

-Trying to fight sleep long enough to get the snacks/drinks and always waking up right after the cart passed me. Blast!
