Day in random town of Chou Doc

HIGHLIGHTS

- Spent the day in a relatively sleepy little town. We were Engl practice for kids wherever we went. "Hello!"

- Watched 3 of the 5 hours of the incredible Nadal/Verdasco match of the Australia Open. That's what you get when you travel with Melbourne locals.

- Took myself on a romantic walk along the river when I desperately needed to stretch my legs from watching tennis. Found a playground to play on with small Asian children. Simple pleasures.

LOWLIGHTS

- As overnight bus drops us off in random port town, we are obviously sleep-deprived and delirious and get attacked by literally a dozen scooter drivers (I counted to there'd be no exaggeration). No other tourists in sight, we attempt to walk to find the boat dock or a hotel...we still don't really know. Every time we stop walking the pack somehow reforms around us in less than a minute. Amazing.

- Cakes stepped in some sloshy black muck while walking and then wiped her foot off on the street to "clean" it. You're sanitation really does sink to new levels.
